So, yesterday, Nick and I trekked off to school on a Saturday (GAH!) to sell Candy Grams to the kiddos at school. I was super nervous that those who had wanted to buy them… had.. and that there wouldn’t be any more interest… well, we sold 238 putting our grand total up to 13,000 tenge, which is about $89. My kids are awesome. We still have one more day on Monday! We’ll see how it goes…

Here is one of the 11th grade students from Murager… she has about 10 Valentine’s in that envelope. She’s pretty awesome.

Zamzagul is the head of the English Department at Murager. She just got back from America and is always looking for new ways to have seminars and interesting activities for the kids.
Selling frenzy!

We ran out a lot. On Monday we are going to have 8 NEW kinds!
So, after a full day of selling Valentine’s, we headed over to Hillary’s for the SUPERBOWL GAME. Only a week late… I might add. AND we were able to watch it on “the big screen.” Here are a few great pictures from the event.
The football game was enjoyable (actually, I’m not gonna lie… IT WAS FREAKIN’ AWSOME WATCHING IT ON THE WALL)… there were some super funny moments… there was this one play that the coach from Green Bay challenged and they kept showing it in slow motion… hilarious. It was a good time. It really made me miss some of the 20s. Nick and I are old. meh.
Well, off to cook some lunch! Goin’ to the library today to try and get everything finalized for a grant from the Embassy! :) Super excited…!!!! Last day of Candy Grams tomorrow! Hopefully the candy comes in soon! AND FLAT STANLEYS ARE IN AMERICA (Thanks, Mom for sending them the rest of the way)!! WOOOO!!!!!
