I love this time of night when I can look out my kitchen window and see how beautiful the snow and sky are… plus the lights from the other apartments… so pretty.
I love all the kiddos dressed in their winter gear… especially the ones that look like starfish babies… picture to come (hopefully).
Packages from home truly rock. This one is sent from the Whitis’. They read the blog… know exactly what we want and ship it to us constantly. There would be a serious lack of Peanut Butter Cookies without them. 
I never use to cook in America. Home cooked meals is definitely on the list. I love being in the kitchen (especially with music playing and a glass of wine).
Last, but certainly not least, the teachers and other volunteers. Here is a picture from the most recent teacher training. There is nothing like spending an entire day getting to know random strangers, making a connection and seeing all of their smiling faces as they are inspired to continue their work as English teachers.
